Hey guys! Havent been on here in ages…

The octopuses of the genus Grimpoteuthis are sometimes nicknamed “Dumbo octopuses” from the ear-like fins protruding from the top of their “heads” (actually bodies), resembling the ears of Walt Disney’s flying elephant. They are benthic creatures, living at extreme depths, and are some of the rarest of the Octopoda species.

The Crested Macaque mainly arboreal Indonesian monkey named for the narrow crest of hair that runs along the top of the head from behind the overhanging brow. The Celebes crested macaque is found only in the Minahasa region on the island of Sulawesi (Celebes) and on nearby Bacan Island, where it was probably introduced by humans.

Stump-tailed and covered with dark brown or black fur, its body is 55–65 cm (22–26 inches) long. Adult females weigh about 5.5 kg (12 pounds) and adult males nearly 10 kg.

Alexander I was the King of Greece in the early 20th Century. World War I had just ended, and since you don’t want to stop warring all at once, Greece decided to go to war with the Ottoman Empire (now Turkey).

With the help of Britain and France he was wooping Turkey. However, in 1920, while he was strolling through the Royal Gardens in Athens with his dog, Alexander was attacked. By monkeys.
Nobody really knows where they came from, some historians claimed they were his pets and that they were attacking his dog cause they didn’t like it. Others think they were wild monkeys. I think they were trained Turkish assassins dressed in adorable people clothes.
The king was bitten on the hand, the hand got infected and Alexander died of sepsis. It turns out that bite changed history in the region.

After the death of Alexander, his father Constantine returned to the throne. Unfortunately, back in WWI, Constantine helped the germans so GB and France hated him.
The Greek army was destroyed, a quarter of a million soldiers died, Greece lost all the land that Alexander got. And then Greece and Turkey ad a big fight aabout who invented the kebab.

Its long, thick, coat (the heaviest amount of fur in the canine world) looks like a mop. The puppy coat is soft and fluffy. And the coat is wavy and curls as the puppy gets older. Some help is needed in separating the cords so the dog does n turn into a ball of haor. The length of the cords increases with time as the coat grows.The only time when they loose fur is as a puppy before the dreadlocks fully form. The Komondor is born with only a white coat,

Ocar the cat in 2003, who lives in Russia reportedly weighs 20kg. Katy’s owners had hoped to have her recognised as the world’s heaviest cat with the Guinness Book of Records however they are no longer accepting nominations in this category as they don’t want to encourage pet owners to overfeed their animals.

Shrek did not get shorn for six years by hiding in caves on the South Island.The cunning Merino lost his giant 27kg (60lb) fleece in a televised shearing. The 16-year-old sheep had a high-profile career. He met then Prime Minister Helen Clark, became the subject of several children’s books and made regular charity appearances.Shrek’s owner, John Perriam, of Bendigo Hill station, said the famous sheep had to be put down over the weekend because of age-related illnesses.”He was just an ordinary sheep, went Awol and hid, and when he was found he became the darling of the nation,” Mr Perriam told local paper.”He had an unbelievable personality. He loved children and he was really good with the elderly in retirement homes.”Shrek’s giant fleece – enough to make 20 large men’s suits – was auctioned off in 2004 for children’s medical charities. Josie Spillane of Cure Kids said over the years Shrek had raised more than $150,000 (£75,000) for the charity, which funded research into life-threatening illnesses. “At the end of the day, it is the death of an iconic Kiwi. He just happens to be a sheep,” she told the Southland Times.

Local reports said a memorial service would be held for Shrek at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Tekapo, and that his owner planned to place a bronze statue of the sheep in the local town.

The hobo spider from North America, also known as Tegenaria Agrestis, that belongs to the group of web spiders. What’s special about this kind of spiders is that they create a funnel-shaped silky web and then they will wait at the end of it for other insects to get stuck into their trap. The danger of this spider is that its bite will cause serious wounds and pain, and this will further cause to tissue death in the areas of the bite. This is really strange!
Oscar the cat made it into the New England Journal of Medicine last summer.Officials at the Steere House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Rhode Island said the cat curled up next to 25 patients right before they died.

The hospital even gave him a plaque for being so kind to the patients and making there stay a much happier one.
